Basically, exactly what the title says. I don't know if Imgur would allow it, but maybe there's another site that the auto-uploader would work with now that the one in place is defunct.

Will there ever be auto-upload to another site now that ImageShack is... you know

You can always try using Tinypic or something to upload your cards.
In the event the one on YCM doesn't work, that's what we do.
It's free and you don't necessarily need an account, but you should get one so you can access the pics you created at any time.

Yeah, I'd just recommend using Tinypic to upload your images. It even provides you with the URL in IMG tags.

You can also use Imgur to upload your cards (just that you'll need your own account to do so).
That's currently what the YCM cardmaker uses to store cards.

I realize that Imgur easily can support the uploading and showing of cards by copying the Forums link to the picture and pasting it as regular text in a post (how I posted all of my cards in my threads). So your best bet is IMGUR since Tinypic is slower and sometimes requires ad waiting and other sites are very hard to use or take a lot more time.

If you skip to the album part of Tinypic after logging in, you can bypass having to watch ads for a captcha code.
I know the captchas are annoying at times.
I'd use Photobucket, but after their update, everything got screwed up.
Imgur is nice, but keep in mind you do have a limit of 225 pics to look at on a normal account.
